Hello Loves! I have a quick mani to show you today, but I simply adore it! I have tried double stamping a few times and never achieved a manicure I really wanted to show off until now. :)
For this mani, I started with a simple base of Couture Little Black Dress. I then stamped with Mundo de Unas Blue using the rose bouquet in the lower left section of Pueen SE01A from the Encore Collection (circled in red below). After allowing the stamp to dry, I stamped over it again with Mundo de Unas Pastel Blue and the floral pattern in the lower left corner of Pueen SE01B (circled in red below).
In case you missed it, I shared a full review of the Pueen Encore Collection here.
Before I move on and show you another shot of the manicure, I want to take a minute to talk about Mundo de Unas stamping polishes. Sylvia has recently made the difficult decision to suspend international shipping for her polishes. This makes me a very sad girl! I love my Mundo de Unas polishes and reach for them almost every time I stamp. They are far superior to any other polishes I have tried. I sincerely hope she reverses this decision in the future. There are so many colors I desperately need in my collection but didn't have a chance to order. :( Anyone live in Mexico and want to be my mule? I joke, of course.
Ready to see another shot of this double stamped creation? I apologize for the tip wear. I didn't get a chance to take pictures of this one until I had been wearing it for a few days, and apparently I didn't cap the edges very well with the top coat over the stamp.
What do you think? Can a girl ever have too much blue? I don't think it's possible!

Hello ¡ congratulations your manicure looks stunning ¡ I loved how you made this double stamping effect. I can hardly do one.
ReplyDeleteLOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! this is gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteWondering what top coat you use over your stamping? Some I've used either smear or when I wipe the tacky layer off, it takes the stamp too. I've been using 2 coats of Gelish Top it Off to try to fix it. Do you have any tips on gel top coats over stamps?
ReplyDeleteI double top coat over all of my stamps. I haven't had an issue with the stamp smearing, but I have had issues with the stamp wiping off with the tacky layer like you mentioned. The extra layer of top coat seems to help. I mostly use Couture, but Gelaze is much thicker and I have had success using just one coat of Gelaze. The only tip I have other than double top coating is to apply the top coat a little thicker so that it glides over the nail and the brush doesn't drag. It's a fine line, though. Too much top coat will cause pooling.
DeleteGorgeous!💗 You. Nailed. It. 💗
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous.
ReplyDelete*sharp intake of breath* Need I say more?
ReplyDeleteCan you suggest another stamping polish brand I could buy.
ReplyDeleteMy bestie really likes the Rica stamping polishes, but I haven't personally tried them yet. I've been stuck on Mundo de Unas for a while now and haven't branched out. So I guess I'm looking for another good brand too!
DeleteI'm looking at buying Mundo De Unas right now & don't see that orders are suspended. How do you know?
ReplyDeleteThe last time I checked, the order system kicked back an error if you try to place the order. There has been much discussion about it in various facebook groups. As of right now, I believe she is still suspending international orders. :(
DeleteI wouldn't say I am a huge blue lover although I like blue just fine. This however, makes me drool. I love it. I have never tried double stamping before. LOVE this!
