Hello Loves! I have the five new shades from the Pink Gellac Spring 2015 Collection to show you today. The Spring Collection consists of 3 beautiful creams and two shimmers and are avaliable in the US via Chickettes through the Chickettes Boutique and Amazon. Ready to see them?
The first color in the collection is a beautiful, coral leaning pink cream called Tropical. Tropical applies nicely and is opaque in two coats. This pink just screams summer to me. It is very much the pink you might see in a tropical sunset.
The next cream in the collection is a beautiful bright blue called Sky Blue. Sky Blue has a bit of a periwinkle tone to it that might be lost in my photos depending on your monitor. It shows on my laptop but disappears a bit on my phone. This one needed three coats to be fully opaque, but the color is well worth the extra layer. Of course, you know me and my blues. lol
The final cream in the collection is my absolute favorite of the five. Nude Beige is a muted, slightly pink nude. I'm not usually a fan of this type of color, but something about this one just grabbed me. It is the PERFECT nude for my skin tone and feels so elegant on my nails. I also love that it is opaque in two coats.
Did I mention how much I love this color? Yeah, I love it so much I just had to add some soft white roses to the tips and wear it for a while. This is by far one of my favorite manicures this year!
Moving on to the shimmers...Candy Pink is a dusty pink with a frosty finish and a name that confuses me. When I look at this color, I don't think of candy at all. It is a beautiful shade, though. It is opaque in two coats, though I do find the finish a little unforgiving. You can see all of my battle scars from school. I swear my nails will be nice again some day...I'm just not sure when that day will be. Though I can promise that I'll stop filing my own nails while working on that mannequin hand soon!
The final color in the Spring Collection is a beautiful, shimmery, light grey called Satin Grey. It has a touch of a blue undertone with a silvery shimmer. Satin Grey is also opaque in two coats for me.
