Hello Loves! Andrea from Chickettes sent me the five new Pink Gellac colors to show you. Four of these shades are gorgeous frosts. The other, well, lets just say it's like playing the "One of these things isn't like the others" game. ;) They are available for purchase through the Chickettes Boutique here or via Amazon at the links below (the polish names).
The first is a beautiful frosty orange called Halloween Orange. It isn't the color I think of when I think of Halloween. I tend to think a more yellow toned orange. It is, however, an awesome true orange with an almost golden frost. Application is great! It offers complete two coat coverage without too many brush strokes from the frost. :) Please note that I am still wearing acrylic nails, so the thick appearance is due to the acrylic and not the polish.
The next new shade is called Chestnut Brown. This is a rich brown with red tones and a frost that gives it a very glowy appearance. Like Halloween Orange, this too is a perfect two coater. By the way, the acrylic I'm wearing under the gel polish is crystal clear, so when I say they're opaque in two, they are REALLY opaque in two.
Petrol Grey is also a two coater. This frosty grey has mossy blue undertones. Ok, yes, I just invented a color. But you know what I mean. ;) I did find that brush strokes show in this color a bit more than in the others. A third, super thin layer would help eliminate those.
This next shade might look familiar to you. This incredibly gorgeous, slightly frosty, glowy red is Moulin Rouge. This is the red that I wore in my official Christmas mani here. Like the others, this too is perfect two coater.
Finally, here is the one that is unlike the others. Naked is a light, pastel purple with a silver shimmer. While it doesn't seem to fit with the rest of the colors in this release, oh my goodness I'm glad she exists. I don't have anything like it in my extensive gel polish collection. And guess what? Yep, another two coater. You can see the shimmer best in the second shot.
I loved Naked so much I just had to pair it with Fabulous Silver (swatched here) for a glitter fade. I attempted a starburst on the ring finger, but the bling from the silver distorts it a little in the picture. Oh well. I still love it and got tons of compliments while wearing it! Is this not the perfect pair?
What do you think of the new Pink Gellac colors? Are any of them screaming your name? I have to admit, the more I try from this brand, the more impressed I become. I originally compared it to Gelish, but I think I actually like these much, much better than Gelish. Application is smoother and they offer better coverage than Gelish (for the most part...some Gelish colors are awesome too). Be sure to check out the other available Pink Gellac Colors at the Chickettes Boutique or on Amazon. Andrea has several listed that I haven't shown you yet. :)

ReplyDeleteI've already ordered "a few" Pink Gellac colors from Chickettes. But I won't actually be using any for the first time until this weekend when I use the Gold Foil Effect for my mani topper. I so appreciate your feedback on the colors in this line. Can't wait to dig into these! ♥
