Mardi Gras Nail Art over Gelaze Flying Dragon

Purchased by Me Affiliate Links

Hello Loves.  I have a quick little Mardi Gras themed mani to show you today as well as a Gelaze swatch.  As usual, details to follow.
Mardi Gras Manicure
Base Color: Gelaze Flying Dragon
Stamping Images: Pueen 45 (both base image and bead image)
Stamping Colors: Rimmel 60 Seconds in Camouflage (green) and Maybelline Bold Gold

Want to see a solo swatch of Gelaze Flying Dragon?  I thought you might.  Flying Dragon is a red toned purple that is packed with pink and blue shimmer. This might be my favorite of the Gelaze colors I have picked up so far.  This is how it looks in my light box setup, but I noticed it takes on more of a red tone under the awful florescent lights in my office at work.  It's a bit of a chameleon depending on how the light bounces off of the shimmer, which makes it a really fun color.  In case you missed it, be sure to check out my full Gelaze review.  And if you want to try a few, they are currently BOGO at Sally Beauty Supply.

Finally, I have one more shot of my Mardi Gras mani.  I absolutely LOVE this picture.  This little Mardi Gras clown is one of three on a beaded necklace that belongs to my mother.  I never though to ask her where she got them, but as soon as I finished this mani, I just knew I had to borrow them to use as a photo prop.

I hope everyone has a safe and fun Mardi Gras!  If you are sporting a Mardi Gras themed mani, please pop over to my facebook page and share a pic.  I would love to see it. :)
